Sunday Christians or Sabbath Jews?
by YahChannah
Some will say, "I am not a Christian!" Others will cry out, "I am not a Jew!"
Still others would say, "Why do you say Sunday Christians or Sabbath Jews, rather than just Christians or Jews?"
Which is better, the Sunday Christian or the Sabbath Jew? Neither is better, for if our relationship with our Father, our involvement with the rules He has given is not a 24/7 relationship, we are in deep trouble.
The difference is that the problems facing each group are different but are none the less problematic enough to take us out of the realm of blessing and protection from the Most High.
Although most who bother to read this may not be Christians, a great number of the readership came from this background.
While there are those who call themselves Christian that actually attempt to live up to their ideals in all areas of their lives, there are many more Sunday Christians.
Sunday only… the other six days are in the pursuits of a worldly nature, be it money, fun, or leisure.
A Sunday Christian believes in keeping the Ten Commandments, oh yes, that is the very basis of their faith.
So does a Sabbath keeping Jew believe in the Ten Commandments.
Is there a difference in Sunday Christians and Christians or in Sabbath Jews and Jews? I say yes, there is a great difference.
How often do you attend your church or synagogue? Weekly, wonderful !
What about the other six days? Do you obey Torah? Do you seek truth? Do you pass the truth on when you find it?
From whence do you obtain your 'truth'? Do you simply follow your pastor, your rabbi, your priest, your guru, and your teacher or do you spend time each day seeking truth for yourself?
When your teacher says something that does not sound right to you, what do you do?
Do you question the teaching; do you research and share your findings with this teacher?
Or do you just say, "Well, he is trained in teaching the Bible. He went to the seminary."
You give money to your church, you support your synagogue, you give to the united way, the Salvation Army etc, commendable.
That is good, but do you obey? Do you follow the Torah given to us as a guide for pleasing the Almighty?
Christians, why do you accept the ten … make that nine commandments, and yet reject the rest of Torah?
The nine result by ignoring/deleting the 4th commandment. Who gave anyone permission to change the Sabbath day to the first day?
Have you checked up on this to see who really changed the day from Sabbath to Sunday? Clue…It was not the Creator.
Sons of Israel, have you come to see Torah as simply a 'book of Jewish myths'? Have you by rejecting the true authority of the Almighty, removed yourself from the blessings given for obedience to the Father?
Have you rejected the words of: 2 Chr 7:14
If my people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and
seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from the
heavens, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Do you no longer know from whence your help comes?
Ezek 33:11 Say to them, As I live, says the Almighty, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn, turn from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel?
Lam 3:40 Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Eternal.
Prov 28:13 He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whosoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.
Ps 121:2
My help comes from the Eternal, Who made the heavens and the earth. We must not be 'Jews' in name only. We must not follow the rules of the sages, rabbis, humanists, and secularists before Torah. Lay aside all to follow the writings from our Maker given in Torah.
We have a choice, make the right one and live.
Josh 24:15-16
15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Eternal, choose this day whom you
will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other
side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as
for me and my house, we will serve the Almighty.
16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the Almighty, to serve other gods;
Children of Israel, your Fathers, David, Solomon, Joshua and Ezekiel speak to you in the previous verses. Will you listen?
Christians, the Creator is One. He will not tolerate the changing neither of His nature nor of His set apart times or seasons.
Deut 6:4-9
4 Hear, O Israel: YHWH our Mighty One is One:
5 And you shall love YHWH your Mighty One with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
6 And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart:
7 And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
8 And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
9 And you shall write them upon the posts of your house, and on your gates.
Please understand, dear Christian, this is not the One you worship when you change His Blessed Nature into a multiple personality of a triune deity. You may call this trinity your god, but be assured he is not the Creator, the Savior not the Eternal Almighty One.
No where are we given permission to change the nature of the Almighty.
Daniel warns of what was to come, and we have seen much of this happen but have closed our eyes to it.
Dan 7:25-27
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the
saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be
given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heavens, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
Who has changed the Sabbath, the Feasts and Fasts?
Do you celebrate Easter or keep Passover? Do you celebrate fall festivals, hallowe'en, christmas, do you hold watch night ceremonies to honor in the 'new year' on 'january 1'?
The Feasts, Fasts, and days to be kept are laid out for us in Torah. When we choose 'other' days can we dare to say we are honoring or obeying the Creator.
Sons of Israel, Daughters of Jerusalem, Christians, Protestant or Catholic,
the time has come to march out of delusion. Our very life depends upon what we choose to do, today.
Isa 49:8 Thus says the Father, In an acceptable time have I heard you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you: and I will preserve thee, and give you for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
Choose this day whom you shall serve… choose life and blessing, choose the Almighty, Eternal, Creator of creation.
