In Praise to God

Each flower lifts it’s lovely face, in praise to God
The landscape dons her winter lace, in praise to God
The eagle soars across the sky
Tall redwoods lift their branches high
Coyotes raise their solemn cry in praise to God.

The birds break forth their joyous song in praise to God
Bright butterflies dance all day long in praise to God
The full moon shimmers in the night
The bright stars shine with all their might
And comets wend their distant flight in praise to God.

Azaleas don their brilliant blooms in praise to God
The storm cloud in the distance looms in praise to God
The mountains raise their craggy peaks
The rain cascades, the thunder speaks
Across the sky bright lightening streaks in praise to God

The sun’s bright rays dance all about in praise to God
The mighty rushing waters shout in praise to God
The angels kneel with folded wing
The hosts of all the ages sing
And, I this humble poem bring...IN PRAISE TO GOD
