Comments : Your ideals are commendable, but who saves the ones that are doing wrong?

They are only victims of their upbringing and circumstances. If you reject the

'sinners', then are you being the 'good shepherd'?

A man steeped in violence is only the good man in bad circumstances. until we can

root out the causes of evil, such as child abuse and indoctrination, then we will

continually suffer.

All of us can interpret the bible to suit our own needs and motives, but is that

right? Was any judgement passed on Abraham when he committed adultery? That is what

it was. For if it hurt his wife to sleep with her handmaid, even though it was her

idea, then that constitutes adultery. And Jacob had two wives, that he obtained

deceitefully by deceiving the owner of the sheep. Was he judged? Man is fallable,

and makes many mistakes. Does the wrongdoer always have to be seen as truly evil,

without any concern for circumstance? If so then we are all truly evil, aren't we?

If you feel that I am overstepping the mark in my statements, then consider this.

The word of the bible is full of despair, as well as hope. However, nowhere does it

say that mankind will have the vengeance. The vengeance is brought upon us by not

heeding what we are told. We currently treat this planet like our own personal

property to use and abuse as we may. If we continue then we will ALL reap what we

sow, regardless of our beliefs. We have got to start treating our world and its

people, ALL of its people with respect. It is only through attitude changes that

we can stop the wars and the violence, and it has to start with each individual,

every day, thinking about what the consequences of his next action might be on

others.
Qumran Bet Replies:
Dear Friend,

Thank you for caring enough to write to us. If, somehow, we have given

you the impression that we 'condemn' any one, then we need to clarify

our position. We do not reject 'sinners', we also are 'sinners'. What we

do reject is 'sin' and the resistance to obedience to the Torah (Law).

We are told to seek perfection (wholeness). We are also told to make

determinations (judgments) and we are told not to judge (condemn). We

try to do the first but not the latter. Without judgment, we are not

able to even cross a street, we must first determine (judge) if the

traffic is clear before we proceed.

Our site is open to all...to a certain percentage, but we are ordered

to, 'not cast our pearls before swine'. Any who are seeking truth are

invited to join us in worship and service to our Heavenly Father.

Thank you again,

Sister Juanita of Qumran Bet

Dear Jeff,

What intellectual claptrap. This bleeding heart liberalism of yours is bankrupt. We are, in the final analysis, individually answerable for our own actions. If you wish to examine the way our Creator deals effectively with a sinful mankind, refer to:

Adam

Noah

or Sodom and Gomorrah,

these can all be found in Genesis.

Our Heavenly Father loves us enough to exercise capital punishment effectively.

Be careful not to be caught away with unrealistic and unreasonable humanistic expectations. We, as imperfect creatures, have shown we are not capable of self rule. Six thousand years of recorded history ought to give the wise this simple insight.

Only by submission to the whole Law of our Father in the heavens can we ourselves avoid the capital punishment to come. Jeff, I pray you see these words as up-building. They are not meant to upbraid. Quite coincidentally, on this very day, we received a letter from Lew White concerning the importance of doing the Father's will.

The dead in Turkey deserve it do they? That's their Armageddon! Did they rebel? Those suffering men women and children? Don't quote the bible at me unless you comprehend what you are saying.

May peace be with you. May you learn to love all others, regardless of their wrongdoings. If someone had loved the all the terrorists when they were young then they could have been guided from the wrong path. Instead intolerence pushed them straight into the arms of power hungry men, willing to sacrifice others lives in their own cause. A thin line separates the good from the evil, and we all stand back and let the evil flourish. If you cannot see that then you are still blind.

Jeff,
The people of Turkey can be compared to the two situations shown below.
Calamities, to which we all are subject:

Luke 13:1-5
1. Now on the same occasion there were some present who reported to Him  about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their  sacrifices.
2. And He answered and said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans  were {greater} sinners than all {other} Galileans, because they suffered  this {fate?}
3. "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
4. "Or do you suppose that those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam  fell and killed them, were {worse} culprits than all the men who live in  Jerusalem?
5. "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

The destruction in the times of Noah, as well as Sodom & Gomorrah, were  cleansing processes.

You stated, "Don't quote the Bible at me unless you comprehend what you  are saying." Is this akin to: "Don't quote theorems unless you are an accomplished mathematician."?

It seems to me that Yahushua told us, not to gather Rabbis (Teachers)  unto ourselves, that He was the way, the truth and the light and that  the truth that leads to everlasting life comes not through flesh and  blood.
